Diagnosis Before Removal
- Every lesion is examined with dermoscopy before removal
- Suspicious lesions are sent for pathological examination
- Removal method chosen based on lesion type, location and patient preference
- Dr. Kaplan specializes in precise diagnosis and distinguishing benign from suspicious lesions
Expectations
Scar size depends on removal method and individual response. Excision with sutures may leave a scar larger than the original lesion. Scars improve over time; protect from sun for 12 months.
