- No fasting required - continue taking regular medications
- You will receive detailed wound care instructions after the procedure
- You will receive prescriptions for antibiotic ointment and pain relief
Expected Scar
To achieve optimal medical and cosmetic results, the incision may extend beyond the original lesion. The initial scar will typically be larger than the lesion itself - up to 5 times its size, and in complex closures, even more.
