A quick guide to preparing for your neuromodulator treatment.

What is Botox?

  • Botulinum toxin injection for smoothing expression lines
  • Also used for jawline slimming and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
  • Results appear within 3-14 days and last 3-6 months
  • Approved for ages 18-65, not suitable during pregnancy

What to Avoid Before Treatment

  • Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment
  • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, vitamin E) for 48 hours if medically safe
  • These can increase bruising risk

What to Expect

  • The procedure takes 10-15 minutes
  • A very fine needle is used - discomfort is minimal
  • You can return to normal activities immediately
  • Full results are visible after about 2 weeks
